I drove one on the Jeep 101 course, they were cool, it had electric sway bar disconnects on it. I liked it.

I heard a rumor that Chrysler is considering closing the CAMP JEEP theme.
Is this a rumor or, is there some truth it it?

One participant said they heard it will take 1 year off. As always, Carla and I will be the LAST to know. So if you hear something definite, please let us know so we can plan our "vacation" accordingly.

I wonder y...... Is participation down? Yes, participation was down this year...but they held the event 100 miles from the northern border of the USA. If they would hold it somewhere more central (PA, MD, VA, NC) I think they would see the numbers go back up.

One reason the number were down is the week they picked, alot of schools in the south had started for the year.

Wheelin' out west (and central USA) is different than the east coast. More open areas, BLM and otherwise. On the east coast we have "Parks" private, state and federal. I think they tried Camp out west twice and canceled it before it happened due to little or no preregestration. Anybody out west that wants to take their Jeep on a trail...can easily find one...Not so easy here on the right coast.

Grease worked great...right up until WVA. I still don't think the grease had anything to do with the ultimate break down. Might have hurried along the demise of the injectors. Got new parts coming in tomorrow (injectors, fuel plate, 3kGSK) and will hopefully have it all together for URE this weekend.
