... figured I'd start here w/ my first post. This is my 71 K20 I've been working on for the past 11 months. I towed it from Ohio, but a new cab and bed on it, lift and working on getting a detroit from a guy in Washington State. Before: New cab: New bed (came from the same truck as the cab): Threw on some 35" hawgs and here's the temp front sheetmetal: Where it's at today: I got some 4" lift rear springs coming as well as the 4.56 geared, detroit locked center section. Has the eaton rear.

I plan on painting it this spring. I was getting ready to start another project but decided to finish this one first. I still have a long stepside bed in my garage in a million pieces, going to put that on my GMC. Got my eye on a 1970 C50 though, be cool to have a medium duty truck!
PaulC, whats that under the carport in your avatar?

I bought a 4" all spring lift(used) for my Chevy, only going to put the rear springs on though as the fronts are the same as what I all ready have: rough country They live up to their name. Did you sell your 3/4 ton axles yet?

Put 4" rear springs on my GMC yesterday: and Next little project is to replace the 4" blocks on the chevy w/ an add-a-leaf and 2" block, should cut down on axle wrap, and lower the rear about an inch:
