Well, finally got it on the road almost 2 year after the initial purchase. Scary ehhh. First things first. A big thanks to Jenn for her patience, her support, her getting me the truck, giving me the time to work on it and the funds to pour into it. Rick Austin, thanks for the place to work on it, store it and the help. Jim Burnley for the help. Craig thanks for the tow down from Norge. Shaker Built for making some of the all the wall brake and steering parts, great deal on the motor, and Chevy SB info. My dad for his technical info on the motor as well. Army for his help up in Norge. See Mel, believe Kenny when he said it would be a cool truck. PaulC

So Paul, I know that thing is a beast, but how long and what's the weight estimate? We gotta get it up to Crozet. I'll give you a lift up there when you're ready. Could even make it a day trip sometime.

Definately Sweet!! I can't wait to see it in person to see what all you have gotten done to it. I still hope to get another 715 one of these days when we have more room...Let me know if you ever think about getting rid of it

Fran,
It weighs in about 5180 lbs and is 220 inches long. The wheel base is 126 inches. Maybe if we put it on your trailer with the back end hanging off you could fit it and the Cruiser.
Kenny,
Sure you sell it to me and then want to buy it back ;D. You can have it when you pry it from my dead cold hands J/K. Next Chris will start selling me his Jeeps.
Tony,
I have a few more things that need to be done like the rest of the wiring, shifter for the dual t-cases and parking brake and mount the winch.
Thanks all for the great comments.

Paul, I assume it's going to get longer after you put the winch and front/rear guards on? Or, is 220 what it will be then? I think we're pushing it to fit. I'm about 13.5 feet with my FJ40. Your 18+ is pushing over. Problem is, my ramps fold straight up at the 30 ft mark. If you tie them to an overhanging vehicle, I think they may cover tail lights. Come over on Friday and we could check it out if you want. Anyway, when you're ready to flex it out, let me know and we'll get it up to the trails for a day or two. I'll let the FJ home and ride shotgun.
