old and new rear springs. After 2 broken pittman arm pullers and some massaging with the BFH, this is what we resorted to to pull the pittman arm off. and the finished product.

I will be here dude. Harold Sumpter and I were talking about going to the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab this year. It will probably depend on his budget bacause I am here already. The EJS is held every easter in Utah with organized trail runs, Jeeps and 4x4's galore. There is a parade, a HUGE vendor show and raffle, and lots more to be had. I don't know the offical site for it but you can google it. I plan on being there this year. If you are up for the Rubicon, my Mom lives very close to it and she and her Boyfriend want to go with thier Toyota. I say... Bring it On. On the build side of the post.... winch comes next, then the fabbing on my new 8.8 axle and we should be good to go. Oh yea, cage too... and lockers.... and......

ya i hear ya on the "up next" list seems like it never ends... of course its up to Harold, but if he goes out there and I find a two car hauler, maybe we can "jeeppool" out west. But if not, I hope to at least have a trailer by then, so maybe I can use my truck instead. Dont really feel like driving for 4 days in the TJ then wheeling it lol I will be so sick of driving the TJ by then I wont WANT to drive it... lol

I broke a pitman arm puller doing the F-150 steering box conversion on the bronco.. What really seems to work is to torch the hell out of it...whack it a few good times on opposite sides with a BFH...then use the pitman arm puller...tighten it...then back off...heat...tighten...back off etc....you know the torch is bout right when you see the grease bubbling up from the pitman splines...eventually it'll pop off....tho I guess this post is a little late....but maybe next time

New brake line addition. I got some brake lines at Autozone for a 1995 YJ. You can see they are much longer and are much less expensive than braided steel lines.

nice! i wonder if they will work on an XJ.... I busted a RE Steel brake line, went to UWI, and pulled one off of a '94 YJ. Works fine and is long enough for 6in of lift.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most TJ's depending on trac bar setup dont need the dropped pitman arm since they have the inverted Y steering linkage. Just make sure the drag link and trac bar are parallel once its all together. Many have found that the stock pitman keeps em parallel which negates bump steer.
Looks good.

After getting tired of having to install a 20amp fuse every time I went wheeling to deal with the clutch interlock. I got crafty, and bought a switch to deal with the problem. It really helps when you are on a hill and need to start the heep in gear without pushing the clutch and causing it to roll. I really like the interlock for daily driver use but it sux on the trail. (I belive this will only work on 98+ wranglers) I used some wire and little connectors to plug into the fuse socket. (Green wires) Then I drilled a hole in the dash panel and insalled a safety switch so it wouldn't turn on unexpectedly. Plus it is right by the ignition switch for easy/fast access. Total cost: about $10 for the switch, some wire a a few connectors. Total time taken: less than 15 Minutes.
