So if we rig the trucks up so that josh's truck gets immobilized and the other "perp" can get away.... wouldn't we be providing a "community service" by seizing a piece of machinery that is in the wrong hands? This thread is getting "2stoopidforwords"

I am willling to pull at harolds. And for ll the downers im prety sure the truck wont get much for traction but i am NOT backing down. thats for dam sure. SO i guess that leave's me with the problem of not so good street tires and 2wd ah well not worried bout it. Ill see what i can do to fix that problem. But my next question is since im willing to pull on your dirt are you wiling to drag race on my drag strip? I mean whats the worst that can happen? YOU LOOSE. Oh wait yall gots fords arent they better cuz u know the V8. hahahahahahaha yea right torque is where its at baby. 6 in a row makes it go and 8 makes it late. When you wanna do it harold?? I am gonna be bussy till bout mid february cuz of just moving into the new townhouse. But im sure i can work it out.

or what Josh? Do we really need to go through this again?
You're fortunate enough that people here on this forum tolerate your semantics a lot better than anywhere else on the web... but regardless of their tolerance, you're still making yourself out to be the same fool. You just haven't realized it yet.
As Keith has said... Time to put your big boy pants on Josh.

I'm cool with a delete. I just wanted a build thread plus a little fun with other trucks or what not. Could care less if I win or loose. I'm in it to have fun. That's it and yes I plan on improving on last years pull. I mean shoot how hard could it be. I only pulled bout an inch. And ya know what I was proud of it. I was the only 2wd out there. But maby this year I can at least make 100 ft. That's what I'm hoping for. Oh and that's only a third of a full pull. Main thing holding me back is traction and I'm getting better suited tires here soon since mine are done for. Too many burnouts I guess lol. Anyways I'm still game for a quick yank with ya Keith. Don't worry I won't beat up your old Ford too much. Oh and the cummins just rolled 240000 miles woohoo. Let's setup a afternoon at harolds for future club members to get a club event. We can do the pull and get in a little 4x time too. That is if your cool with it Harold. Oh and yea I know I sometimes get a litter overboard with my stuff on threads but you know. I usually end up with good intentions and a decent rig. Anyways yall can delete away. But can I reserve the right to start the build three with the only intention too let everyone know the progress on the beast. Oh yea that the trucks name now. The Beast. What yall think?

I'm game if I'm available during the next Harolds excursion but a few ground rules need to set before hand. Harold since it's your property and since you're not going to be competing (or am I wrong?) I would like you to Ref the tug off. So if Harold blows the whistle or air horn or what not... The pull is over. Tire pressure's? obviously 2wd only unless pulling against another 4x4 then both need to agree. What are we going to hitch too? Receivers? And who has a strap rated for 20K + lbs that's not a "snatch" strap?

Snatch strap is what we always use. I will be hooking to my d ring receiver mount. If I'm pulling against a 4x I will want to loose some tire pressure but you can run 4high and run what ever you want for tire pressure. What about weight in the bed. I'll be in the 2k or more range. If I can find some weight. The #1 rule needs to be if your hooked and pulling and holy want to stop you can anytime. We will need some type of signal as far as when the drivers want to end it. Because if you hit the breaks that mat cause damage. Other then that the rules and agreement need to be made driver to driver. And the ref will be there for safety and stuff and also needs to know the game plan. I for one think it will be fun and can make for an interesting day.
