anyone know where I can get some transmission bolts and tranfer case bolts?..TH400 going onto an amc 304 and quadratrac setup.. it's the little things that can really halt a project dead in it's tracks Try Four Wheel Hardware. If you can't find it on the website, call them and they can get you done. For my 1009, I find that forums are helpful ID'ing size and thread count. There has got to be someone out there that cares that much about CJs.

If you do careful measurements you could go to a hardware store, like ACE hardware. You'd be amazed at how much the little details will cost you (hardware, wiring, plumbing, and fluids).

Head out to Pick N Pull and find a vehicle with the same, or similar transmission setup.

Head out to Pick N Pull and find a vehicle with the same, or similar transmission setup. That is a good idea, but when was the last time you saw a CJ with Quadra Trac in PNP?

I bet the hardest ones to find may be the flexplate bolts. Do you have those?

When did the frame off resto on my CJ, I believe I spent $400-500 on new bolts and fasteners; and many different trips to Lowe's.

If you can get the thread count, size and length there's a place on Indian River in Norfolk between Military Hwy and the old ford plant that has never done me wrong. They are right beside the building that Protrucks used to be in across the road from Wickers Crab Pot (good seafood by the way). I can't remember the name of the place. I've always just drove up there when I needed a bolt, nut or washer that I couldn't find otherwise and the sign is pretty faded as well as the building is a bit rundown. They've helped me find some really weird metric bolts for Toyota's in the past as well as different styles of bolts to replace safety torques. If they can't find it I don't think anyone can.
Hope this helps
