Well it time to start a new build that is not someone else's, lol Here are some pics of it when I got it home. I hope to post more of the work that is currently done. The plan is to fit a 14 bolt under the rear truck arms to keep the coils. And for the front to attach a set of leafs and dana 60.
I do hope so. I saw this build once in a 2002 issue of Peteren's 4wheel and offroad. You never get to see the finished product, but I really liked the idea behind it all. BTW, what is the movie is the clip you have as a avatar ?

Here is a sneak peak of the front axle mounted. I moved the axle 3 inches forward of the wheel well center. Once I get everything square and welded into place, I'll push it out for some better pictures.

I got some time this past weekend and got the front suspension and changed out the front axle shafts and hubs. I started tearing down the engine and found that the block had a 4 inck crack in the #1 cylinder . No pictures of that, way too depressing.

Well today I mocked up the "new" tires on the truck to see how much sheet metal needs to be trimmed. The rear well will need the front and top trimmed off and the front will get the front edge of the fender knocked off. I might cut off the lower valance to have a smooth line across the front. I still need to finish building the engine and installed, so I can get the movable shackle location mapped out Also I did not feel like taking all that stuff off the hood and the bed for the picture, don't judge,, lol

Well it has been a while since I have put in an update. I cut 20 inches off the rear of the bed and got some 2X8s from Lowes for the bed floor. So much more welding to get done. The pinion angle and drive shafts still need to get finished up.
