Thanks for leading us around Saturday Fran! It was a great time for all. Not too much breakage to speak of either, especially for Crozet standards; but not from lack of pushing our rigs. A couple Moab wheels were beat up pretty good, and an XJ was kissed on its rear door. The rain from the day before made things interesting, but in a good way. But when I saw Josh, Norm, and Andy all pull up in the same rig, I knew it would be a fun day. And they didn't disappoint....I believe it all started off with a story of the drive up and their quest to find a particular pancake house; but apparently no one knew how to get there.
I do believe we all got in more wheeling in one day than you normally can get in a whole weekend when it is busy up there. We basically had the whole park to ourselves, there were 6 rigs in our group I think, and then 2 or 3 buggys doing their thing.

It was a great time up there and I'm looking forward to be up there again next weekend. My hat is off too newbie wheeler Dave in his Cherokee, running open/open, but new Swamper TSLs (32s I believe) We got him through a lot with good tire placement and driver control. As his Dad said toward the end of the day, "I think he has the bug good now." That makes my day worthwhile.
Looking forward to more pics.
Fran

Yes! Thank you Fran for guiding us! I had a great time being out and enjoying some 'wheeling. I will have to get the CJ back together soon. For those not in attendence, you should be ashamed.(Note the tee shirts due to warm temps.)
