Hey folks, I just had to get my Wrangler inspected, and since I've been hosed by kramer in the past ("Defogger don't blow on windshield"-inspector) I decided to take it to Dale's Garage in Chuckatuck. I know it might be a bit of a drive for some of you, but those nearby, it's a real easy inspection. Lights, hi-beams, directionals, reverse, horn, defroster, brake lights, and wiggles the front right tire. Easiest inspection ever. Highly recommend him. Just thought I'd share for those that might not pass otherwise.

another one is AtoZ auto off of witchduck road. they will give you a legit inspection, but won't hassle you about b/s stuff like lift and all that kind of stuff that you will get tickets for, i've got my xj on 36's done there for the past 4 years

Noble's near Robbie's True Value on High St in P-town is good. No BS, and common sense!

Where the hell is this Dale's Garage? Nothing comes up in the search engines for Chuckatuck.
Oh yeah, never take anything to any of the Kramer/Goodyear places. They all will fail you if you have too many bugs stuck on the grille to impede airflow to the radiator....they all suck.
Nothing in phone books, online or otherwise to indicate a Dale's Garage.

Dude it is really easy to find When you are in the middle of chuchatuck at the 7 eleven look left it is like 3 buildings down. Pretty sure it is the only place in chuckatuck that has a tow truck and is an actual working garage. I found it in my phone books at home. If you need the number let me know and i will get it tonight when i get home an past it for ya.

Yeah, that was a stupid post...I know where Chuckatuck is...but I didn't know if there was anything more to it than that 1/2 mile stretch hahaha. I found it pretty easy. The XJ failed, re-re-re-re-re wired some stuff and they passed it.

Heck yeah...I am writing the story up now...it will be on the same scale as the "Flying Wheel of the I-895 Baltimore Tunnel" and the classic, "Ripping the Steering Column in Half episode." Look for it in Tech Forums near you!
Critics are already raving, "Who would have thought humantiy could be so desperately hilarious?!" "Joshua does it again...makes me laugh and squirt beer out my nose!" "Omigod, I can't believe he did all of that and thought it would work! A classic!" "The Drama in this boys life is amazing! There is no way it can all be real?!"

Dale's Garage 5932 Godwin Blvd Suffolk VA 23432 (757)255-2321 just to let you all know, this place just lost their inspection license... got caught doing haphazard inspections. went to firestone in ches. sq. last week or so... they stink. *new rotors, pads, exhaust, broken (cracked) left turn signal, windshield sticker and no light covers on aux. lights on windshield, and serpentine belt to replace. all for a grand total of 600!!! guess I'll waste another 15 bucks and try AtoZ... hope they don't get too anal, like craig says.

After my problems earlier this year, I stripped my failed sticker and went to Merchants on Holland Rd. The inspector had to get someone else to drive my jeep in to the bay because he couldn't get in. My left front tire shook. He passed me. I had to wait a while though since he is really slow.
My jeep was failed at Muffler Center just a couple of days earlier for:
Cracked header, exhaust leaks, no track bars, windshield wipers.
