I figured why not have a post listing places that you've had good/bad experiences around the area, such as shops, stores, junkyards, etc. Good = C.A.R. Services off of Witchduck Rd. in Va Beach. Does GREAT service and VERY honest people. I would trust them with any vehicle that I send to them. Bad = Witchduck Used Auto Parts. Its a HUGE green warehouse right off of 264 and Witchduck Rd. HORRIBLE customer service. I had my Tranny (AW4) rebuilt here. It took them 2 weeks to finish, as well as I was screwed out of my 12kmile/1year warranty. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, take anything to these guys!! -Adam

this C.A.R. place do driveshaft repair? Driveshaft work like how do you mean? Such as extending a driveshaft etc? I seriously doubt it, but look them up and give them a call. One more GOOD place I forgot to mention. The Great Neck Citgo on Great Neck rd. in Va Beach across from Wendys. I've taken my Jeep to the guy named "GI" up there for a while, and he is VERY honest and does work for good prices. I HIGHLY recommend him for anything you need done. I take my Jeep to him for any work that I dont have the tools or time to do. ;D -Adam

Good: Gene's transmission did a good job on my tranney rebuild in the dodge (46RH).
Good: UWI
Bad: Johnson's truck and mustang (never had luck there, they want for used parts about what you could pay for the parts new, and they've always been jerks everytime I've been in there.)

this C.A.R. place do driveshaft repair? If you are in need of anything that has to do with a driveshaft, whether it be U-joint repair or extending the D.S. itself then take it to "Driveshaft's etc." off of Witchduck Rd. -RJ

I've been dealing with CAR Services for years, I've never felt ripped off, they're honest and here's their phone number...671-2277. They're always busy so you need to give them a few days to work you in.

Standard Parts Corp off Providence, gets my vote. They did both of my driveshafts for less than 200.00. One was lengthend and the other shortend and they work like a champ.

Good: Production Offroad in Virginia Beach, honest, quality work, good prices. I had my gears for my TJ done there, both front and back in a day. Great group of people.

Also, while all you guys are on Witchduck, if you turn Right onto Cleveland just by 264 and go towards that big Town Center thingy, Gregory's Driveshaft Division and fleet supply is on the left just after Euclid. Great service and price.
I am glad there is someone else on this board that calls Johnson's T&M for what they really are! For awhile it seemed like they they had bought out everyone on this board.

Delmarva went bankrupt about 2-3 years ago unfortunately and were diced up on the auction block. Kirk at Pro Trucks now has their u-bolt making tools, etc.

That's too bad. I had my rear driveshaft done at Delmarva twice. Also got info from the owner when he was off of work once. Good: Finks off of Providence (alignment for 38s) Bad: Hidust -fried one of my wires when welding, had my steering wheel at a 90 degree angle to drive straight.
