Here's a couple shots of my system. It's in my XJ. VIAIR 460C (1.66 c.f.m. 100% duty), 5 gal tank, relayed dash switch. Airs up 4 32x9.50 TSL's just under 5 minutes, 12 to 35 p.s.i. Got less than $300 in it. Blue switch is air.

Probably the next mod I do AFTER my Jeeps fixed. Must be cool to air up, run pneumatic tools, etc.. And Dave(core4wd) payback to that fella(bluetj) after the w/w @ Oak Ridge was priceless.

Ummmm, I believe Eric slung mud on Daves' Jeep and payback was waking up to a flat tire(which he thought had some trash in his bead). Needless to say, Core4wd just stood by straightfaced and offered very lil help(especially w/onboard air) as Eric pulled spare down and took off tire that just neeeded air..... Moral to story- don't get on Core4wds' bad side....

Don't be afraid to get on my "bad side"! Just be prepared to get a little "payback", maybe 3-fold?! heh-heh It was a good payback, though! ;D Oh and I was behind Eric the whole afternoon by the way. I'm STILL getting red clay out of my radiator! Good one Eric.

I'm curious what size wire you have running through the switch and back to the compressor. Even the rating of the switch is probably questionable. I've seen lots of swithes and blade lugs metal from high amp devices like the compressor. I'd solder 10 guage wire to a 30 amp relay mounted by the battery then run back to the compressor. I'd put a fuse between the battery and the relay and you can control the relay from your dash switch. You may already have done this but it sounds like it's just through the switch. I wouldn't want you have a fire!

The kit recomended 10, I happened to have 8 gauge in the shop. Oh yea and the dash switch is wired with about a 14-16 gauge wire (since it's a low-amp circuit) and fused as well. ;D
