A friend of a friend brought these to my attention. So...what's the take on these? Never seen them before AND could actually use them (as could some others with some serious damage in this area I think). I dunno, you can only bolt on so much, and it looks like you have to drill into the frame to get them to stick. What do you think? noboundaries4x4.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=55

The only problem I see is if you bolt those on the next weak link is going to be the windshield hinges or the screws that hold the windshield on. I'd be more comfortable with denting the windshield frame then ripping it off the rig entirely. That or use your winch next time your on the frame to roll the vehicle away from the tree.

Out here in the PNW, 75% of the trails are way tighter than findley ridge. Most jeeps windshield frames have taken some serious abuse (mine included). It's cheaper out herer to find a used windshield frame in a junkyard than it is to pay for those sliders.
Option 2: build a cage and fold down the windshield.
Option 3: Build a cage to incorporate the windshield.
