Hey Pat i got mine for free from a friend and it was a Daystar. The only thing i had to buy was bolts because he busted them taking them off his jeep. Now as for price i think they are a little more expensive but, it gets rid of your stock body mounts and incorporates the body mount with the 1 inch lift. They come with a complete set of new poly mounts and bolts. I've heard that the the puck kind after a while have a tendancy to allow the body to shift around on the mounts. I have had both and i like the Daystar best.

Go waaaayyyyyy cheap, and take a trip to Portsmouth Trailer. Buy you some boat rollers and cut them down to 1" blocks. Buy you some bolts, and there ya go. Ask Erick S. about that. He did it for his 1" body lift. Hey Pat, whatcha making more room for ?? Some of those BFG Krawler tires ??

I have a question thats wondeirng in my head, With the body spacer? WHat kind of material should it be? ALuminum? Poly? Rubber? Should the spacer be solid so there is no give between the body and frame, that way the bolts do not become lose, or should there be a cushion there, I guess the factory bushing. im DUMBFOUNDED with Technological mysteries, from aluminum to poly? SO MANY Choices.
COOL on the KRAWLERS? I WANT A SET

Just put small 1" x 2" dia coil springs in place of the body mounts. You'll have the world's first "bobble head" Jeep!!!

Pat,
I went with the Daystar that replaces the stock body mounts, since I needed to replace them. It has worked OK except for the 2 bolts that are broken off now. Don't know if it is because of the stiffness of the polyurethane or what.

Pat, If you are thinking about the Daystar spacers, you might check www.allmyneeds.com. If you go with them, tell him you are a member of Tidewater Fourwheelers and VA4WDA. I'm working with him now on a club discount. When I get more info, I'll post it here. Lyle Update: Please see the club message board for discount information.

I have decided not lift for now. If I was I would get boat rollers and but bolts from York bolt. Seem to be the best bang for the buck. Unless you need to change your bushings anyway

Mr. Boucher is mistaken (sorry, Chris), I do not have the aluminum spacers, I went with the el cheapo boat roll. I can't believe Chris doesn't remember us cutting them with the chop saw at his house and making all that awful smoke... The roll and bolts cost me about $12 total. It's been on for about 3 years now and has been wonderful.

Aren't the Currie ones aluminum? I have recently been told not to use hockey pucks because they break down rapidly.
