Wow, you guys need to make a deal with my son Dan. He's still young and strong (and not afraid to hurt himself). All you'd have to do is put him up for the weekend, and feed him. Actually, now that I think about feeding him, you probably wouldn't come out ahead on the deal. ;D

I didn't. Sat morning turned out to be lounging in bed w/ a pretty girl... The cold, greasy junkyard just didn't have the same appeal. Heh heh.

I'd dump her if she didn't insist you go to the junkyard and offer to help! It's the beginning of the end!!!

Have you guys seen any TJ's hitting the yard yet? I have yet to see one. Lots of little pieces I'd like to pick up.

That would be a sin! :-) Actually, I think the resale prices are still a bit too high. Dealers are still taking in the (in my opinion) $100 junkers with a blown engine and selling them off at the wholesale auctions. I hate to think about what happens after that. But, what kind of "little pieces" are you looking for? Heck, you might find club members that have replaced stuff that just want to get the old stuff out of their garage. There's always strange stuff out on Jeeps Unlimited. It's worth checking the "For Sale" forum there periodically. If you post what you're looking for here, on the "Wanted to Buy Forum", you'll have lots more "eyes" looking for it for you. JU is at www.jeepsunlimited.com/As always with buying over the web, it's buyer beware, so just be careful on your deals. JU is not quite as "friendly" a place as our club. Lyle

Man, I am POed at myself!!!!! When I got there Sunday late morning, I chated with Craig and Mike before they headed off...they said nothing much was left...and they were right. But there was something very special there that had I awakwned myself to get there just when they opened like I planned, coulda been mine! Craig mentioned a Waggy but that it was plain, blah, blah...well it wasn't plain! It has the same front AND rear Dana 44s I picked up to put on my XJ! I coulda pulled both of the rear D44 "centered" shafts as well as all front shafts, hubs, lockouts...and carried it all out for $29.95!!!!!!!!! But know, there were a couple other hicks working it over for just about everything in its drivetrain!!!! Man, I coulda made a deal and had spares out the yinyang!!! If any of you ever see a Waggy with a centered D44 or the no CAD front with manual hubs, LET ME KNOW PLEASE! Thanks!
