Lyle, I'm not sure how I missed your post. To answer your question I asked AEV about the transfer and they said the Scrambler is too high of a lineage specimen to degrade into a TJ. "That’s like turning a man in his prime into a snot nose twerp!"

So, I guess Pat sending in his Scrambler to have it turned into a TJ is out, then. I thought that he already had TJ flairs on it. ;D I'd say keep the Scrambler but either don't let your dad drive or you shouldn't spot him Jonathan

I saw on the JU board that Avalance is selling Corners taht are 3/16 in steel plating to protect the corners and sides. THey sell them for the Scrambler as well. LETS SE A TREE BEND THAT

well frankly it woun't matter whos spottn. looks like those things can sure take a beeting compared to the stock sheet metal. Maybe just build a rig out of 3/16 plate steel. COuld be the new 007 jeep with bullet proof body panels
