Jim's XJ is alot closer to being rock-proof (sorry for the jinx ;D) with the addition of newly fabbed Rock Plates (for rocker bars), Transfer case skid plate and Rusty's Gas Tank Skid. Fabbing and install by C.O.R.E.4WD. Rock Plates mounting tabs on Rocky Roads rocker bars- Getting ready to install Rock Plate- Installed (fasteners are countersunk into Rock Plates) T-case skid also shown, will tuck up higher in front with high clearance performance catalytic converter- Rusty's skid installed as well- Hey, Jim-rear diff is looking a little vulnerable! heh-heh ;D Guess we need to hook that up with a slider as well! Pics added June 5,2006- Jim's happy about losing 8.25 (only cuz c-clip is stuck! lol) Positioning d44 bling bling paint dude!- Cleaning brake junction block, had to make one line- Filling diff- Front high pinion- LCA's off Shafts in-

Man Jim!! Looks GREAT!!! Guess you won't be taking vid this time huh?? Dave...EXCELLENT job on them! That is sweet! How long did it take to do??? How much you chargin' Cause...I want some!!! Pro job...but all your jobs are...good goin'...can't wait til my stuff gets here...(and it better get here quick!) Is there a such thing as TOO rock proof??

Heck yeah Dave you did a great job with everything i cant be any more pleased with them! Now I have my jeep back and i cant wait to drag them over some rocks ;D

Michele, takes about a week start to finish. Gotta juggle my "real" job. Can do them without jeep after template is done. Template takes about an hour. $150 installed. You will have no fear rolling over rocks tire to tire! You've seen (heard?) mine in action...

Hot Tip! Dave modified/customized my Skid Row generic control arm skids. His plasma cutter sliced through them like butter, nice work Dave.

Looks good Dave! Even some of the bypasses at Crozet can be hairy though...lol.
Dave...sent you a PM RE: the 8.8...and thinking of some more protection myself...

Yeah those bypasses were fun sometimes but now i dont think ill need to take a lot of those thanks to Dave ;D

Yeah it was alot of fun this weekend! I used all of my new skids and they worked g-r-e-a-t! so if your in the market for some custom skids done dave is the man to do it!
