Always looking good, but I can't wait till we have the pics of this truck on a rock or chevy. Bunko? We had quality kid time in the cauldesac. Kalani trying to keep up with Alex in her jeep. Alex hitting all the obstacles in his jeep. The older boys Shayne, Conner, Cody, Randy, and his sister, Alex, all doing their evil kinevil jumps over the ramps and each other. Talking to all the neighbors, while the kids raise hell like we used to when we were their age, priceless. Playing bonko, three wasted hours without your kids and family. Monday and Tuesday over head and glassy.

I'm at Rene's dad's place in Corolla right now, there's swell showing but it's still small. Tomorrow afternoon will be different. Looks like the best day will be Wednesday, for winds. I'll probably take the family wheelin' on the beaches tomorrow. Yea, the cul-de-sac was rockin' wasn't it? Be prepared to go when the goin' gets good! ;D

I just realized what Billy said.... "... rock or Chevy..." haha. I'm sure we can find some Chevys to run over ;D I'm guessing here in the next week or so, Billy's EB will be complete... and I know that'll be good news all around... since I'm sure Dave P wants to get his EB project going I'm still planning out and shopping for parts and looking at others' buildups to get and idea of where and how I want to go and do things. I know one thing, once I get my junk put together, I'd like to see how she flexes on the ramp ;D

With a hurricane off the coast? I'm going surfing! The EB is coming along pretty good, though. We'll be putting on the shorty headers and taking it for exhaust soon, maybe do our own pipes...

Somehow, I figured that was coming.... ;D I'm toying with the idea of going with Bushwacker cut-out flares on my junk... mostly for clearance issues. OH, by the way, I never did ask you if your EB already had a lifted suspension or not, Dave. Might save me some money on the buildup if so.... also toying with using radius arm extensions vice spending the extra $$$ on Duff arms. You guys could probably do your own exhaust, unless you really want it to look purty.... if so, contact Travis at The Muffler Shop on Holland in VB. He's pretty darn good and the prices are fairly reasonable. Have fun surfing!

The springs are 3.5". They will be good for mock up but really are too stiff for rock crawling. All the EB vendors sell good springs for right around $120 give or take for shipping. For the rear I would do a shackle flip (mine's got blocks right now and use the stock springs, otherwise just get a set from whoever you get the coils from. Go 11 leaf Deaver's or Cage's 8 leaf packs. I've got a guy over at Big Al's that handles my extra stuff, but yea I've heard The Muffler Shop is good too. Maybe I'll check them out as well. The ramp is always open! In fact, Mike Adair is hitting it up this week...

Trying to work it out for this Saturday. Rene's step-dad has a birthday thing that day (at least b@#r will be involved), we'll probably have a wave thing and of course the EB to tweak on. Brenda will be here so that will make it easier for me to break free. I'm thinking surf, ramp/bronco, b@#r and chill...by the way your sliders are OSPHO'ed and ready for paint...

Awesome. 6:30 am tomorrow dawn patrol for some head high surf! I am trying to leave the house by 6:30 am. By Sat we will probably be tired of chasing this wind blown swell and be ready to put all effort on the bronco.

You going to have enough time to finish before the Annual for a shake down run?

Hurricane surf is what is up. It is hard to get anything extra done when your spending all free time surfing head high to 3 foot over head waves!

Those dang dang dingety-dong dong surfer dudes! Hurry up and finish and trial run it! I know, I know, I have things that detract me from pretty much whatever I plan to get done. OH well. All I know is Dave had said by the end of September.... and the month is already about half over! ;D

Haaaay I told him to get it to me BEFORE hurricane season! He knows the deal. Sliders are done, the headers go on next and build exhaust, order front driveshaft. Need to make belly skid also. Should be in 4WD by end of month. I've been prepping for exterior Line-X as well... ;D

surfing is a necessity of the build up.
