While Noah was sleeping Saturday, Seth and I decided to fix his alignment problem in his Jeep. The plastic starts to wear out with all those miles on the trail, so the Jeep had a severe "alignment" problem. Even though it was really hot out, we broke out some tools... ...worked up a sweat... ...and got the job done. We tightened up all the press on lock washers, cut the flat bar tie rod, spread it about 1/4", and bolted on a reinforcing bar with a perfect alignment. Once Noah got up, a test drive was in order. The Jeep handles like a...well, like a Powerwheels Jeep now. One Jeep ready for Camp Jeep, one to go.

The CJ7 fits in there w/ room to spare. It was in the yard for trailer moving duties.

I'm liking the looks of the blue grill in the back ground. You could make some more room in that garage if that was out of the way. I am sure Ryan would like one.

Hey Boucher, I was thinking about putting some flotation wagon type tires on ours. There's no traction with those plastic things. Think the gears would hold up, or would it instantly strip them?

I wondered about using those wheels too. They would ride better. But what do you air down to if you start out at 10 psi??

That's a common mod, make sure you have extra couplers to swap out cuz yea they get better traction! Makes it a little harder to steer also, especially if aired down but hey it's good arm excercise for the little guys...

You should get some really spongy tires and air them up to about 20 psi. that way Noah could bounce all over the yard.

I'm wondering if someone could machine up some metal replacement parts... like the gears, etc. That would make for some interesting results ;D

Maybe strip one of those little Kubota 4WDs and stick a body on it? Too bad they want so much coin for those Li'l Mudbuster EB bodys...

chris do ya want to get rid of that old jeep in the back ground? If not which ones are you parting with. Ryan wants something to tear apart and put back together.
