Lift is on. For a pieced together lift, it all worked out pretty well. 4" Skyjacker springs, 3/4" spacers, adj front track bar, and RE adjustable control arms top and bottom. It drives nice, but I do have a vibration from the d/s. The Tom Woods is on order, just waiting for it to come in. I don't think what I have is going to cut it, I think I'll still get some bad rubbing, so I'm gonna put a 1 1/4" JKS body lift on...unless someone has a better idea. Don't think with short arms, going much higher will be a good idea. It's up exactly 4 1/4" higher than before. First, I need to convince Dave to help me fine tune all the adjustable control arms.

Keith, Looks great bro! Yeah I think with the JKS 1.25 you will be okay, I know on my 98 I had the full RE 4.5 superflex kit which most will say is really about 5 inches of lift. That was with 315 75R 16 MT/Rs. You also may need to do some wheel spacers depending on you wheels offset. Did you order a driveshaft with a replacement yoke off the t-case or one with the flange to retain the vibration damper? Hope we can get the CJ sold for ya! Later!

I got the yoke that replaces/removes the vibration damper. I don't know what the offset on the wheels is, but I've turned it lock to lock with no rubbing right now. I think it'll be ok. Lookin' good, Keith! I agree, the body lift will probably do ya good. If those are 15x8 wheels, it LOOKS like the wheels have 4" or 3.75" backspacing, but I'd have to get up close and personal, and maybe even measure it. Again, with such short notice and all, you've done a LOT with that thing already and it looks great. Now, get all the kinks worked out and let's go wheelin'... that is the only way you're going to figure out what else needs to be addressed, as you already know!

Heck ya, we can shoot some pool! There could be drinks, and samiches. Just tell me when! Or I'll be more that happy to renew my passport and bring it to Virginia Beach (and swim in the pool!)

Well, I'm off all day Thursday, then pretty much after that I'm on midnight shift for three months. So I guess anytime. Then I'll be off on Monday and Tuesday next week too.
