Was thinking of putting an accessory cage on top of the TJ. for hauling beach chairs, coolers, inlaws ;D I've seen a couple in the online stores. Anyone have any good/bad luck stories? Thanks

They might work well for going to the beach, but you stand a good chance of ripping it off when you take it O.R. or Crozet. ;D My opinion is that you can buy a small utililty trailer for the price of a safari rack, and it will be more useful too.

Andy, you could use a fold-up receiver mounted carrier. Are you gonna have time to work on the TJ when you have a new van to move into?(You know, down by the river...)

yea..Not quite sure I'm feeling the shin crusher reciever mount style though the flip up one does solve that problem. As far as the new van. that's easy. leave all the old crap in the old one and buy new for this one. Is that a cross between Drew Carey and Chris Farley or is that Uncle Fromme at this years family reunion after the mexican bean dip kicks in. ;D
