Welding my front axle has been my worst mistake and will be fixed soon.

I get to add another one. I regret taking the chance on Interco tires for something I drive to and from wheeling. Actually, I'm going to take it even further. I regret doing all the modifications I've done on the TJ, and not just building a mild buggy or dedicated trail rig and leaving the Jeep alone. I'm not sure about this dual purpose stuff, too much compromising on both ends. Wow. You could buy my CJ and trailer and go hog wild.... Yes I could have. It's too late for that now, no more money.

I have no regrets per se with what I've done to my rig as being in the same situation as most where I have to DD for work and the trail everything I've done works out. Now that being said If I was in the ordering stage of my buildup again I would have done the following;
1- Cromo axles and CTM's right from the start 2- Gears (Still running 4.10s and living with it for now) 3- Beadlocks and 37" meats
I am so glad I decided to do a longarm kit this time, I have been real happy with!

1. Sellin the XJ 2. Putting a BL on the YJ instead of just lifting it higher 3. Putting a chrome diff cover on the D35 when I was 19, talk about polishing a turd! 4. Selling the 5.9 5. Buying the MJ 6. Not buying the lifetime Firestone Alignment deal when I was 19!

I'll go back to 1991, selling my 1974 CJ5 and not bringing it to VA. Then building:
'89 Ford Ranger and selling it. '93 Nissan Hard Body pickup and selling it. '96 XJ and then sending it to the junk yard. '88 MJ and then parting it out. '88 YJ started thinking of building it but sold it before I built it. '67 M715 and then selling it. '87 YJ partly built and the selling the peices. '78 Bronco and then parting it out.
Now I plan on sticking with what I have: '87 K5 for the tow rig. '74 FJ40 finish building it up simple but reliable. Then running the wheels off of it.

Staun infernal beadlocks! Found out that I only have 1 working when I aired up before this weekend... and they both leak like a banshee! I'll be going do-it-yourself beadlocks soon!

Buiding my 84' CJ7 and selling it. Built up a 92 YJ that I got for next to nothing then I sold it after I finally got all the mods done to it... So far my best purchase was my current jeep. I've got a 98 TJ with about 78K on it. Been building it for awhile, but blew the rear end. Working on fixing that issue now, but by far I love the TJ, now I have to keep reminding myself not to SELL this one.....

I too have several vehicle sale regrets; however, I think on the buggy wrangler my only regret is using Y spring bushings on on end of the links instead of putting out the extra cash for the Johnny joints

I regret selling the stock EB rear seat. The Corbeau is much narrower fitting around the seatbelts, although it IS much more comfortable to actually sit in. The kids say it's fine. Two adults would be VERY cozy, which could be a good thing, depending on gender I suppose...
