Adam, Any progress to date? As a side note looks like ROKMEN may have their own Highline tube fenders sometime in the near future...they have a couple of re-builds going on with their TJ's their SWB and their Unlimited. Both appear to be low COG builds as well as test beds for their newest stuff they may want to produce for customers. I am always torn though with some of this stuff because at some point it can blur the line of a DD or a straight trailer queen. That being said I would love to have a big Deezel with a trailer like Keith and Fran and Dave and...
That drive up to Crozet isn't bad in my Rubicon but if I end up modding it any more than I have now it will start to be less highway friendly and I am trying to keep the highway miles off it. I dunno, after the last trip I defintely want to do tube fenders, If I didn't already have all I have into my TJ I would look at an 06 and below Rubi Unlimited just for wheelbase purposes...But a stretch in the future will help that out!
;D It never ends!

Update - not much but it's something.
I've got Mike's 32" MTs and 15" steelies on the LJ now, and a 1" bodylift, 1" motor mount lift, and a 3/4" spring space lift on their way. This should get me through the wheel-in.
So how I'm researching high clearance xfercase skids. I'm looking at SkyJacker, TeraFlex, Nth degree, Jeep Medic, Rokmem, and 33 Engineering. I'm leaning toward the 33 Engineering.
Any thought's / experience? Did I miss any?

Adam, I think the Nth will be one of the highest clearance, possibly the Tera and Sky Crapper skid as well. Rokmen, Kilby will be good but not quite as tight to the belly, but they build them extremely strong. If you use a super high clearance one like the Nth or Sky Crapper it may even take a little tunnel dimpling but I'm not sure. I think Nth claims it work without resorting to that and maybe I'm thinking of other write ups where people went completely flat between the frame rails....

That is my LJ on Craig's list. I don't expect anyone will take me up on it, but if they do I'll get my CJ back. The LJ is sweet and I know with time and $$ it will be great, but I regret ever selling the CJ. It's more an emotional thing than anything else. The CJ just felt right ... pretty lame huh?

Not really, if I had the opportunity to get my old CJ back I would do it in a heartbeat. I'd even take a little loss on the TJ if it would get it back. I've asked the new owner, he isn't selling it. Everyone said to me "I told ya so." Your turn. Norm, I'll give ya $600.

How 'bout that 650$, two new 31's, a windshield, and a rebuilt AX-15(Installed)? OH YEA, that is with no winch and MT Claws.

OK, I've made a decision - I want my CJ7 back, so the LJ has to go. I'm asking $12,900 and will take $12,000 if I keep the bumpers. I've installed the 1" body lift, and will throw in the 1" motor lift (new in box).
I also have the Nth degree high clearance skid that I got for it - $500 ($15 off and no shipping costs). I think it's the best belly pan out there and includes the high clearance tranny mount.
Spread the word, make me an offer, I'll consider trades etc...

The RUBICON just got SOLD
Now I will be doing my best 'Back to the Future' as I re-unite with my old CJ7 ...

I don't think Dave would go for that. The 'Burban will have to do (although it does need some work).
