Big Thanks to  Mike D ( got a lot of his old junk and advice) Craig ( my local tech support) Josh ( the CJ counts ) Keith Matt Bryan Chris B Norm ( the one who invited me into this sickness) .............and all the others that listen to my babbling questions about the obvious     As it sits now: 4" suspension ( various MFG',,Currie,Skyjacker,Tomken ) SYE ( Advance Adapters ) Tom Woods ( rear driveshaft ) Aussie Locker (front D-30) 33" BFG KM2' (5) Future plans: Rock Sliders (Smittybilt) actually on the way Rear bumper/Tire carrier( hey Eddie how busy are you?) Belly up Skids ( for various items) Possible upgrade on rear axle. Test drive tomorrow. I'll update later AndyW |

Norm I think he might wait. I said if it drives OK go wheel it break it in an align it when he gets back.

Most places offer some type of warranty with their alignment. I usually take her Durango to Sears and bring it back to them just before the 6 month warranty runs out. A bad alignment can cause death wobble.  And I'd hate to see any unnecessary wear on those pretty new shoes! BTW, nice looking rig! |

Bring it to the house if you want and I'll align it. I have a low buck 'jig' I can use to set the toe if that's all you need, and an angle finder if you need to set the caster. I can get it pretty dang close. I did Ed's the other day, then he had it checked at Starr and I was only half a degree off from perfect. Close enough on 33-35" tires. Oh yeah, looks great!

I'm Ok  Just a little advice to the newbies like me.  Always and I do mean Always recheck tire cleareances after everthing you do your rig, like adding weight to the back(spare tire,rack,kids,whatever) Or you end up almost ruining a brand new tire |

What do these last two posts mean? What did you do Andy. Poor Andrew!!  He had his brand spankin new BFG's mounted on his stock wheels. The back spacing of the stock wheels drove the sidewall of his driver's side rear tire into the upper coil bucket / mount. Soooo, his brand new tire has a sidewall gash, before it even got to the trailhead. |

Hockey pucks are good 1"bump stop extension if you can find them  If your going to Crozet this weekend, a buddy Paul S. has a Grey YJ, he's selling some rims with good backspacing if you need some rims, He will possibly be a guide (Local) |

No go on the road hazard warranty already looked into it  Thanks for the offers,but a new set of Crager Steel Blacks are on the way.(got from summit racing cheap. 39.95 ea. Should be here tomorrow. 4" backspace. I'll be ready to wheel this weekend (still feeling a little queesy) AndyW. |
