Bump steer? Do you have extended shackles in the front, or are they stock length?

Have you had your caster angle checked?

YJs don't need the trac bars, only for inspection. How much lift do you have? did you have to extend the trac bar mounting points? Specs on your rig please? Save the $$$ on trac bars.

Make all the brackets disappear and then there is no need for trac bars. YJ's came with them but, as Ben said they are not needed. If you have bump steer Josh it may be caused by the lift you put on the jeep. Do the springs have degree shims attached where the spring meets the axle? If so they may have thrown your caster off.

If he added a drop pitman arm that will cause bump steer if the angles between the tie rod and track bar are different. Like Tony said, take it off and don't look back. You'll probably get more articulation too.

I thought only one set of lift springs would have shims and they would be for the REAR, do fronts have shims as well?
YJs like to have their draglink paralle to their tierod if possible, hows your look?

it has a drop pitman arm and the drag link is almost leval. the shackles are forward alot and jackie says that is because the spings have flatened out alot and the springs are really soft. not shure what the lift is but its a 3 1/2 inch with degree shims on the back

Could the shocks be bad or the steering stabalizer? , hence when you hit a bump, your bouncin all over the place? any info on this lift? 3 1/2 lift should not flatten out too much??? Could the stock shackles be TOO short to limit travel of the springs? Some run a 1/2 to 5/8 longer shackles with lift springs.
And you checked the torque specs of the shackle bolts, NOT OVER TIGHTENED? chance you can post some pics?
It could be the road itself, is it a rough section or ........
