Don't be it was a cut up factory mount. It had been working loose for a while. You will be good if you had good weld penetration.

That's cause your still runnin a 30 with no point hang down looks like you solved the tj control are hangin down problem. How's that bolt workn for ya on the steering? Keep the pics coming. Ben the knuckle side of the draglink is a grade 8 with a directional lock nut. I still need to drill it for a cotter pin. Solving the TJ CA hang down problem?? I should have lowered the lower arm an inch at the axle. That is one of the maybe redo's.

Hobbs sheared a 3/4" grade 8 bolt at the knuckle while driving down a gravel road at Tellico. The hiem joint was was on the knuckle, not elevated

Prolly put another grade 8 3/4 bolt in right? yep, been like that for years now. fortunately we were going slow at the time. could have been messy. more than likely the bolt loosened up and thats why it sheared. we're FINALLY going to fix his steering and do fuel injection on his rig over the next few months.

Been awhile now, but here are some pictures of the suspension. Here are some reference points, fork height is 35", spring drop is 36". compression is stopped (jimmy rigged) to prevent any tire rub and contact with fender. Not amazing flex but exactly what I was looking for. Still need to install limit straps and bump stop! But it drives wonderfully, especially after I got alignment set correctly (with angle finder and tape measure!) Enjoy

I am struggling with back seat head room, and Hawaii's commy vehicle inspections. I may need to remove the rear tuffy box, or redo the roll cage. either way my too tall son doesn't fit!

Adam had his junk over there and never had an issue that i know of with Hawii's vehicle laws. I'll mention it to him tonight so he can get you some pointers.
