Glad to see you made some more progress, Josh. Those front bleeders probably needed a good dose of Panther Piss and a little 'massaging' to get 'em open. I had to do that on all four corners of the BII last November. What a pain in the rear.

Dave, I ended up using the new calipers so i wouldn't have to worry about them seizing on me at speed. And the jeep has been on the road for about 2 weeks now. No vibs thus far so i think this red neck can git-r-done. The next thing is save up for the rest of the cage to be finished and cut the front fenders for some clearance issues.

Josh, I hear ya. I have to try and get my driver's rear shoes adjusted a little better and do some 'fine-tuning' on the brakes on mine. I don't want to put stock flex hose lines on it right now, but may have to. I'd rather wait and put extended lines on it when the lift goes on. The main issue is that my BII has sat in a fairly humid environment without being driven as regularly as it used to be and somehow there was water in the floorboard area which I couldn't figure out the exact cause of (I could go into detail of the possible causes.... but...). Going to take a little TLC to get it where I won't worry so much about driving it at pavement speed. Part of what prompted what I did to it last November while on emergency leave is the passenger side front caliper locked up on it on my way home from visiting my Dad in the hospital. I was able to 're-seat' everything without a whole lot of hassle, but still didn't get the one rear brake adjusted where it should be. Another issue I noticed is that the e-brake pedal quit ratcheting like it should, so needless to say, I got some things to do to it when I get to it. I'll probably incorporate that with my interior work. I plan on removing all the carpeting out of the passenger area and putting bedliner in, which will also entail a stress crack repair on the driver's side floorboard. I'm still trying to figure out where that came from, but my best guess is probably Crozet and old age. It was only a half an inch long when I found it while I was still in Virginia... now it's about 2 inches long Ah, well. Sorry for the detour in the thread... it's a bad habit I'm told I have ;D Dave G

Yea its all good mang. I dont mind spennding a little cash on something tat may save my life one day. So that brings me to my next project. One of the guys on dso (insanewayne) is gonna build a cage and let me help me. Which is gonna help me with the price. Now on to the next major problem with the jeep. I need to find a place to get springs re arched. Does anybody know of a place that does good work?

So far i like the MTZ's. they ride a heck of a lot better then the sx's did. A bit louder though but a way different type of sound. Also get the 5th gear back 2300rpm's@55mph is perfect for me. Ill get some pics later
