We have a regretful modification list, what are the ones you're glad you did and would do over again? Or the mods you're glad you didn't do.
suspension seats lots of armor C02 tank and I'm glad I didn't do any engine or exhaust mods.

I'll reduce this down to most used mods. Would have the be: Detroit locker in the rear and on board air.

Good call on the Swayloc. One of those or a Currie Antirock is a must.

Skipping straight from stock axles to Dana 60/14bolt w/ Detroits on my CJ.
The twin stick on my Dana 20 w/ Dana 18 parts and no interlock pill - makes for a smooth positive shift and I can do front only Lo or Hi, rear only Lo or Hi, 4wd Lo or Hi (and also the undesirable front Hi/rear Lo or vice versa ...).
Good rock rails, corners and fenders so that dents take some real effort.
Good seats.
Just about everything else I've done I think I could have done better (hindsight being 20-20).

Lockers front and rear, But then I realized power steering was a must. 173 to 1 low range isn't bad either.

Lockers front and rear Dual cases Transfer case Ebrake means I can actually stop on the trail without resting the body on a tree! Budbuilt crossmember/skid plate keeps the drivetrain nice and high and gets rid of the cumbersome hang up point of the factory stamped crossmember.

Winch...first thing on every vehicle. No matter what other mods you do, you always end up needing a Plan B eventually.
On the CJ7, I like the NP 435 and Tera Low 4:1. Can you ever be geared too low?
