Found a great source for replacement vertical door window seals for the MJ, for the section that is right behind the vent window. I would imagine this would work on the vertical part for the rear doors on an XJ as well? Anyway, got an 8-foot roll from JC Whitney for $17 plus S&H, here's the link: www.jcwhitney.com/ALL-RUBBER_WINDOW_CHANNELS?ID=12;0;0;0;100001;ProductName;0;0;0;0;2009944;0;0Style 24 is what you need. It's rubber, with felt lining, and fits the vertical window channel PERFECTLY! I rolled the windows down as far as they would go, scored the old seal at the bottom with a box cutter, and removed the old seal. It was so dry rotted it came out in chunks. I installed the new seal, starting at the top by pushing it in and up as far as it would go. Then I worked my way down towards the bottom, and tried to cut it right where it joined up with the old seal, so the window would stay on track when I rolled it back up. Took about 5 minutes to do each side. I didn't bother with replacing the seal behind the door panel, since the window doesn't spend that much time down there anyway. But I have at least half of it left, so there should be enough to do four doors. After spending over $100 at Team Cherokee for the four window wipes, it was nice to find such an inexpensive source for a different window seal.
