if he pulls the outer set of wheels I may be enticed to give a tug myself just to see how the Auto would pull...

Disclaimer: None of the following is based on or not based on my opinions.
From Josh: Just in case you can't read, pavement means blacktop or cement. We will run truck for truck on the street. Not losing my back tires. You can use 4x4 and I'll set mine up the way the 2wd pullers do it.
Paul G.- calculations are off. I should be right around 900 ft/lb of torque. Because minus my turbo and injectors I was already at 750. And according to 2wd pullers website the weak link is going to be the clutch. Which is why I'm going with the Kennys pulling clutch because the clutch is built for tractor pulling meaning it can get hot for short periods of time. It's built for boosted launches with sticks. The reason it is not for towing is because it doesn't like to slip. And according to Kennys, it is the best clutch for my application which is pulling and drag racing.
Find a parking I can pull you across.
Do you want me to bring a trailer and what shop do you want me to drop you off at?
For the winner, a 6er of choice. And if I lose, its just more parts I gotta buy.

Wow the challenge is on! Josh why do you want to pull on pavement? Every truck and tractor pull I have been to has been in the dirt. I think your dully could pull the hell out of Fromme's Power Joke and Paul's rig tied together. I have faith in you! ;D

I would like to pull on pavement too. But I'm not going to. I'm not sponsored, are you? Doing that will ensure someone ends up broke I would think. Harold, you go first.

See Josh... I'm not TRYING to break mine... Why don't you just tie off to a bulldozer and try and yank the rear axle out from under your truck... Pulling on pavement leave no room for wheel slip so you are guaranteed to break something... I don't want to say stupid... but pulling on pavement is STUPID and ILLEGAL.

Okay, I'm trying to make sense of the pulling/towing comment? But anyhow... yes, pulling on pavement is kind of hard on things, dependent on your points of hook-up, etc. I'm not sure I want to see or know how this one ends... Dave G

Why not just take the trucks to the track and see who's will pull further. Like the video below, doesn't seem to hard to do .....tell em it is a grudge match, sure they will hook you up.... no pun intended....

SO.........................who cares wether its illegal or not. I will pull anybodys truck on here. And Keith i cnt believe your backing down. Just earlyer you said IM IN. So lets hook em up. Here is a vid to counter the other vid and pics. Ill could care less if i win cuz it seems to me im the only one willing to try. Oh and i have tried the sled already and have some adjusting to do and wil be back at it this coming up season. I dont see any of those of you talking on here hooking up. Oh and just yesterday i pulled a Hummer H2 about 50ft. And he was in 4low.

I am in, on Harold's field. Your video just shows why it's beyond stupid to do that on pavement.

SO.........................who cares wether its illegal or not. I would proooobably say the cop that is challenging you, the cop that is on the board of this club, and others cops on here, watching you run your trap... do you ever think before you post? Harold... you should see if this could be a club event LOL!

I am offering up the dirt patch. I am good if they want to make it an event. If its not too muddy the trails can be open too.
