Dave,
it has a 3 or 4" lift on it now, other than that the plan is to keep the lift and restore it back to presentable stock (drivable). Probably put some narrow 33 or 34's on it. Nothing pretty, nothing fancy. The body work has got me at a stand still, but once I weld up all the rust holes I can pretty much get busy on it.

Just a little over a year later and ALL the rust is gone with new metal welded in. The body is back on the chassis and I've test fitted the fuel tank and drivers seat. I also installed the E-brake assembly and cable this past weekend. I found some hopefully (minor) damage in the motor and am waiting on a rocker arm and push rod. I have all the parts to make it run as long as the motor proves to be good. Goal is to have it move under it's own power in the next 4 weeks. Maybe Craig or someone will post a pic or 2. I can't from work.

Oh and yes I have lost all challenges associated with this build. Craig has finished and wheeled his CJ/YJ at least 3 times, Chris has seen his garage floor, so I've heard, and Keith has bought built and sold at least 3 rigs since I started this one.

You should have sold it to Keith, he would have finished the build, got bored with it and then sold it back to you for what you sold it to him for....... I'm not bashing Keith....I'm just saying ;D Look forward to seeing it done

That's a very good point Andy, and that reminds me I've got an 8274 waiting to go on this thing too.

Andy has a good point, but I would just drop if off with a credit card. I would have done that with the Meat Box, but it wouldn't fit in his garage.....

I made my goal of having this thing run by years end. I think it was the 27th I started it successfully and drove it a ways. Here's a couple of short uneventful videos. It was running out of gas in the first 5, after I realized that it ran pretty good.
