Thanks for everyone's concern and prayers. I spent 8 nights in the hospital but finally got to come home.
I was riding home from work on a 6 lane divided road and a 17 year old girl did a u-turn directly in front of me going 45 mph and nowhere to go or time to go there.
The scariest part was a blood clot in the left side of my brain the first night but it cleared by the second day. So that left me with a concussion, 2 broken bones in my left foot, a separated right shoulder, severe sprain right hand, mild sprain right elbow, and my knees are still pending MRI's to see how bad they are. So right now I'm recoupping with a wheelchair and have to take it easy.
The bike will be ready probably before I am. Its got a longer repair list than I do for it'll be back and shinier than other.

After 3 more MRI's, more X-rays, and another CT scan, I have more information.
Both knees have bruised bones, the right has a meniscus tear and a defect with the knee-cap. As soon as the broken left foot is healed, I'll get my right knee scoped for clean-up and assestment. I have to use my right foot with my left hand to move around in my wheelchair. So that's why I have to wait for the left foot.
The right hand/wrist actually has a couple fractures in the joints connecting the large bones of the hand to the wrist. No cast, just a brace as it's important to exercise my hand & fingers to help the joints heal with flexibility.
The right shoulder is a Type or Stage 3, meaning the clavical is completely torn from the shoulder and shoulder blade. I have to decide wether to have surgery or wait and see how it heals first.
That's the latest,
Don

A little update for those who are interested, today marks 8 weeks since my accident. The greatest progress has been the reduction in the post concussion headaches which has allowed me to stop taking the pain medication. I'm also finally walking (limited) with a cane and foot/ankle brace after 6 weeks in the wheelchair. And I've started physical therapy to try help restore some of the motion in the ankle, knees, hand, and shoulder. My foot and wrist fractures are still healing and my shoulder has a long way to go.
Thanks again for everyone's best wishes,
Don
