Anyone with D60 experience want to help replace the ball joints in my F250? I got the new today that they are bad enough they won't pass inspection next time. Also, explains the recent steering looseness I've been feeling.
Tomorrow will start the collection of needed parts. Is there a kit to make it easier?
Once I know I have everything, then the day will be scheduled.
Thanks, Fran

Most advance stores rent a press kit your can take the old ones out and put the new ones in. Check out dynatrac's rebuild-able ball joints.

Dynatrac does have their "Pro-Steer" rebuildable ball joints......but they are OMG! expensive....(I looked into them) to the point you could probably buy 4-5 or more sets of regular ball joints....too bad I really wanted to use them but wow.... Craig, thanks for the link for the kit. I'm not overly crunched for time, just won't make any long trips until I get it done. Yep, found that same step-by-step site last night and printed the 27 pages. Also, the "special tool" link to seat the seal... Should be a fun project,,,, I hope. Fran
