Ok so I sold the yj a long time ago and while I don't miss it I want something to OffRoad in. So picked up an 89 v6 regular cab short bed Dakota. It's already 4x4 and has a 5speed. Plan is to do a 2" body lift and 31's. Wheel it till I get all the stuff necessary to do a 12 bolt rear and waggy 44 front. It's not in great shape. Pass side door banged in pretty bad but ah who cares it's just gonna be a wheeling rig. I'll have pics up as soon as I get the Internet working again at the house.

just got my hands on a 4bt from a scrapyard out of a wrecked frito lay truck only 86700 miles on thinking dropping in my cj instead of a 360. Need to find a th400. I dont the front axle will hold the weight though

Going to go d44's front and rear. 2" lift wagoneer springs in front and bastard leaf packs and a possible shackle flip in rear. 5.13 gears and full time lockers front and rear. 2" body lift. Winch in front. That's about it.

Well found a place that actually says their sue will work with the 231d t case. Anybody have a sand blaster I can use? Need to blast the backing plates for the rear axle.

Haha yea I'm sure you do. I just wish I had more money to buy stuff for it. But the axles are almost ready for y'all. I think im going to go ahead and get chromo shafts for the rear on my next order. As far as progress. I have everything for the diff's, inner chromo shafts for the front. The t case is out. Next stuff I'm ordering is chromo outers bearings and seals for front and rear, sye, 760 u joints. Then I should be getting the outer knuckles and lockout hubs and some other misc stuff from Travis early next month. Then it's time to save all the money I can so Travis can build my dream truck. Well at least get it driving on the d44's. Btw Travis I appreciate the help. And info.

This may be a little late, but I use a generic blaster that you stick in a bag of (dry) playsand. A little messing (use headgear, goggles, earplugs to keep sand out) but it's like $13 at Northern. Sand at Home Depot a couple bux. You can borrow it if you like but I'm at Beachfront so considering gas you're prolly better off just buying one out your way! That will be a light weight rig! Should be fun once you get the better axles in. ;D
