So now this thread is all up to date as of February. Next step is to figure out some issues. The whole Jeep leans toward the passenger side by at least a half an inch. I think that the control arms may have some preload on them and am hoping that getting the rear axle centered up with both uppers disconnected and then connecting them one at a time may help it level out. Hopefully that helps with a thud I am hearing from the back end also. The thud only happens when both sides of the rear suspension are compressed at the same time (driving straight off a driveway for example).
Other issue is with my steering. I really feel like something is wrong up front. I don't know how best to describe it, other than the Jeep just seems to wonder really easily. The steering wheel also shakes a lot when going over bumps. I had the front end up off the ground a few months back and the wheels have some side to side play without any movement in the steering wheels. Both wheels move the same amount. The play is not up/down play (hands at 12 and 6), but actually side to side (hands at 3 and 9). I'm thinking my steering box is going bad.
Those are my 2 biggest concerns at the moment. Hopefully nothing too expensive comes from either. Other than that, I am just really looking forward to Wheeling for Hope in April. I am headed out with a few other vehicles and a few buddies and planning to use the event as my bachelor party. My brother and I have had the significant others with us on the last 2 annuals so it will be nice to have a boys weekend again.

My buddy Steve put this together and in my opinion did an outstanding job. A lot of the Jeeps in the group were from his club in Maryland. His is the Blue Wrangler on Duratracs. My brother's is the white YJ on KM2s. Nice video and pictures. Oak Ridge is fun for all ages! I believe your buddy Steve may be a nephew of a former member of T4W, Bill Moritz?

I had the pleasure of being with this group at the annual. Good times. Looking forward to the Wheel In in April. Your Jeep is looking good.
Derek.

I checked with Steve and he said that he doesn't have an Uncle Bill. Guess the last name is just a coincidence.
And Derek, thanks again for the help at the annual. I've been 3 years in a row and have had 3 different guides. All of you have been outstanding.
