Yellow light is for road side repair. Fords break down that much these days that a warning light is required? Oh geez here we go! Thanks Chris haha! Nice truck Josh...

Well the tires still rub so probably going to put the 2" spacer back in and an add a leaf in the rear. Other then that its going in for head studs, 175cc injectors, head gaskets, and some other reliability add ons late June or early July. No it hasn't blown a hg but I I do need injectors and figure well shoot I might as well do it all at once and be done. Not doing a big engine build on this one but a little massaging to help in the power wil be nice. It dyno'd stock at 250hp and hoping for 400hp after the build. No stacks and no black smoke. Just a nice driving reliable tow rig.

Well I have been driving it lately with a cracked inner cooler up pipe so I ended up getting a banks setup and some new silicone boots for it. Man what a difference boost makes lol. Also ordered a tuner with some decent tow and street tunes. Oh and found out my degas bottle has a very slight leak.

Put one 12" pipe coming straight out the back, centered below the bumper...kinda like a turbine. Similar to this... Everyone has stacks.

Thanks man. And exhaust is staying put. Anyways ended up down at Morgan's corner truck pull last night and put her in the stock diesel 4x4 class. Pulled 198' first pull. And second pull was 228' feet. Both pulls were in 4low 2nd gear with tuner set on 400hp street tune. No smoke and she pulled awesome. I'm sure it would do better as I have a bit higher tune I could run and never pushed the throttle past 3/4 but hey I didn't break it and had fun. And that's what counts to me.

june 1st and 2nd is nationals. But i wont be pulling. Then on the 23rd is a regular night of pulling. I wont be back till the july date. And yes it will be hooked to the sled again. Hoping for traction bars.
Oh and here is the running list for the build. 62/68 divided t4 flange turbo street cam valve springs Airdog 165 lift pump fuel sump 190cc/100% injectors New divided t4 up pipes New standpipes/dummy plugs New ICP FICM custom tuned by KEM STC fitting upgrade SCT tuning by KEM New OEM headgaskets ARP headstuds
Thats about it but should make a really nice smoke free tow rig/play toy. Somewhere in the area of 500hp.
And Andy. I always said id do it with the cummins but well failed and now i have a truck that pulls great and can drive home. Very happy with my 6.0l even though most people think im crazy for driving it lol

Well So the "big build" never came about but it has had some upgrades in the power department. Got 155/30 injectors, airdog 100, and new tune. After running it down the track and calculating the 1/8 mile into 1/4 mile time and then running the time and weight through a online time vs hp calculate the truck should be about 450hp and 590tq. And still no smoke. So im happy. Also did this this weekend. Yea cut a nice large in the fuel tank. But it was in prep for this. Fuel sump had been sitting in the garage for a long time and now that the truck is not the DD i had the time to install it and clean the tank.

Man I havent been on here for a looonnnnggggg time. Well the trucks been through many updates but ill keep it short. Built a headache rack for it. Hide a way strobe kit and light bar, 8" lift and 37's. Nothing in the power adder department but it has 200k miles and still on stock head gaskets and bolts. Cant complain much i suppose. Truck has done everything i have asked of it and done it with ease. Looking at getting a set of 40" tires and calling it good. But who knows. No more drags or pulling im thinking at least not till i find a new job in Mi and get another truck some day.
