I'm getting 17 to 18 in a 2008 F250 pwr stroke. Hoping it gets better around the 20K mile range.

Bought a F-350 a few month ago and I get 17.5 MPG empty and 13.5 towing or city driving.

Richard is presently tied up with work. I'm not sure what year it is but the truck does have the old trusty 7.3 TD in it. And no he doesn't have a trailer yet. I'm wondering if he's going to continue wheeling because he got some news here recently that may realign his thinking and don't worry. It's good news. As soon as I get permission I'll post up and let everyone know.

Adam, If you're still thinking about unloading your Ram, Think up a price you'd be happy with, and I'd like to take a look at the rig. I'm in the market for a new tow rig, so let me know. Jon

I believe he sold the Dodge. You'll find one, there are plenty out there. You could pick up a V10 really cheap about now.

My early 2004 Dodge (2500, 4door, shortbed, 4x4) gets 17.5-18.0 mpg commuting and Ive seen 20-22.5 on the highway at 65 mph. The trip to Crozet towing I got 15.5 mpg which was better than I had expected. The issue I have is my new job is ~ 45 mile from my place, and my truck is my commuter .... I'm thinking I might sell it and buy a honda and an older cheep 3/4 ton for towing. We'll see. Adam I bought Adam's truck and love it. I can confirm about 18 mpg empty d/d'ing now that I've had a few miles on it. My son loves it too cuz he can sit up front in the middle seat! Dave

What Dave said. I've replaced the Dodge w/ a cheapie suburban (2500, 4wd, 5.7L = 15 mpg). The big gas engine rigs are selling for really cheap right now.
