Great pictures Eric and Donna...I wish we could have captured the image of your little dog sliding out the back door...Mark and Eric, you two excelled in your rock climbing with your stock Rubicon's...it was astonishing how fast you picked your lines after Hummer Hill... ;D And as for you Shawn...have you figured out how many flats you had and how about a recap on carnage?

For the quick recap, 4 or 5 flats. Dents include one totaled passenger door, two side mirrors, both corners of the rear bumper, small dents along the entire body. I will try to get some pics up on those. I almost forgot the big stuff!! I lost my headlights on the trial. Mark found them two days later. I needed, at the least, the brackets that aren't sold at advance. I bent the tie rod to about 6" of diflection in at least 5 different places. That sent the tires 3" closer in the front than in the back. I replaced the header gasket on Sat night and by Sun night the new one was burnt up again. I lost the brake booster on Hummer Hill!! I had $90K worth of Jeep in front of me, so that drive down was a little scary. Right now I am trying to figure out if I can replace that with a heaver duty unit and what else I need to get to do that. The dealership doesn't even have the parts to compare the systems Anyone know chevys enough to know about JB5 vs. JB7 systems?? Well, time to try to find more info on this stinking computer.

A spotter on Hummer Hill with that Chevy coming down??? At least we told him where the grassy area was so he could avoid the muddy corner which would have sent him over the edge as he came careening down.

Well, a spotter would have been more like a target on that trail. I may not have a crawl of 66 to 1 but low gear did come in handy in addition to having an automatic. Those come with a brake pedal you can double foot! Also, I forgot the rear diff cover getting hit and leaking a little bit. Time to go look into those things.

Really enjoyed the trip to Paragon! Thanks Debbie for the Kudos on the rock crawling. My confidence is soaring after Hummer Hill! Remeber to keep arms in the Jeep on the trail!

Is Turtle Run the hill that gives you about 3 feet of width once you reach the top where Rubicon Lake is located...ask Mark about that one, I'm interested to hear his take on it now that a little time has gone by
