What happened to the VROC thread? Thanks for all the competitors and volunteers. We had a few guys from tidewater here. It was a blast. We will be having another VROC in late March/Early April. We would love to see some of you guys in that event!

What happened to the VROC thread? Threads in the "Wheeling Anybody?" board are deleted after the event has passed, so that at any given time, that board only shows upcoming events. Comments about an event after it's passed should be posted here in the After Action Reports board, just as you have Chris. Thanks.

Where do the old threads go? To the cyberspace trash can? How about a new forum of old upcoming events? Some of those wheeling threads have some useful info in them that could be useful for someone looking for information about a trail. Just my 2¥.

After an event has occured information on the event can usually be found in the after action section if people who attended start a thread there.

I'm a new old guy to the Tidewater forums - made it to my first meeting last week. I thought it would be good to chime in on this thread and see if anyone from Tidewater would like to attend a wheeling weekend at Crozet?
A few Off-Camber Crawler folks (including myself) will be meeting at Crozet Thanksgiving weekend, 27 and 28 Nov. I'm driving up Friday from Chesapeake and depending on weather may camp. I can give more details if there's interest.
Now I'm not a Tidewater 4x4 member yet, but would it be ok for me to start an "Upcoming Event" thread on that board, or is that reserved for Tidewater 4x4 trail leader types?

What time did the local guys go up there? I saw a small caravan around 7:30 in the morning just before the weigh station/I-295 branch off along I-64. There were a few red YJs, some TJs and I think a blue YJ and a Chevy truck pulling another Jeep or something...can't remember. I passed you guys.

So far I don't see their names on the OCC Crozet signup list, but I can keep an eye open for them. So far we have ten rigs signed up on the OCC list for this Crozet trip.
I'll start a thread on the 'Wheelin Anybody' board. Gotta be some folks out there wanting to try some new trails.

I had a blast at VROC. Everyone was nice the weather cooperated, had some real good times. I learned so much there too. I may have to compete in the March one if my ship is not underway.
Thanks to Chris and Heather for putting on an awesome event. I will volunteer my time anytime. I just need a "cow pie free" piece of land to set up my tent on.
