I agree, the weekend was great. We covered a lot of trail, three areas in three days. Everyone worked together and we got'er done. Chele, thought the weekend would have better with fewer trees in certain spots. For me, NO rain would have made the weekend perfect!! Fran

It was a great 3 day adventure! Awesome group including a couple of newcomers who did super and I think suprised themselves with their rigs' capabilities. We hope to see you guys (and gals) out soon again! Tommorow will be a maintenance day and then I will build dvds. I checked out video and there are some great shots! Fran even got in some.
Please post that you made it home ok...
PS-Michele, you didn't need that fender anyway, right? ;D

Most of us that were still at Crozet on sunday convoyed back. I got a few more dents and dings in the yota but am ready to go again after I change a Ujoint or 2 for preventitive maintanence. Had a great time. I'll burn some disks that I'll bring to the next meeting also. Didn't get alot of pictures but I got a few.

We made it home ok. And had a blast! Cheryl summed it up well when she said all the nice people she met made it a great time for her, because the camping, well, kind of sucked with the rain and all. But for the most part it held off during the day, and we all had a great time wheeling. I've got a few pictures if anyone is interested. A few of some people on CJ5 Hill, I think Fran and Chele, and one of Debbie coming up the water crossing at the beginning of Oak Ridge. I am in a little trouble now though, because my son tries to climb over any and all obstacles and hills he can find in his Jeep.
Chele, thanks for taking the pic of my CJ, I had no idea I was flexing that much or that it was even capable. Kind of weird seeing your rig from another point of view.

What a great weekend of fourwheeling opportunities all around the Charlottesville area. Who'd of thought there'd be such a variety of terrains, conditions and enthusiasts to come together and have so much fun. Chris, we particularly appreciate the unexpected opportunity to help out at Oak Ridge, it made for an exceptional end of the summer trail ride. BTW, why are you all complaining about rain? Four-wheelers love rain, you might give the wrong impression! ;D

Hey i made it back home and back to school all right. ... i'm going home later today to fix my shock and maybe the diff... Jim, did you check the diff cover when you got home? Any new oil showing? If not the tightening may have done it. Just check the fluid level again and you may be good to go. Fran

yeah there is still a leak this morning when i went out side there was a small amount of diff fluid on the ground. I think tightening the bolts helped a little because there wasnt as much leaking as b4. So ill just pop the cover and re seal it.

....BTW, why are you all complaining about rain? Four-wheelers love rain,,,, Debbie, you're being too funny!! You know we could come back at you making that comment. It was the evening rain that made it a little miserable in camp. I don't think anyone expected all the night rain. Fran
