I'm planning on a winter run Deb. Will have to coincide with a course Jan 4th-9th (darn that work!) and Mother Nature giving us some snow! Can go at the drop of a hat otherwise, I'd even do mid-week to get in some snow!!

I might be interested as well. We have to take into account the PARKWAY closes in the winter, the gate could possibly be shut, and HUNTERS!!! Think SUNDAYS are winter wheeling days. BEN

If I have the Bronco-150 back together by then, that would be a blast. Just picked up my cab yesterday.

Gee Ben, you know the deal don't you-I called the Ranger District Office and they said Big Levels is scheduled to close January 9 and reopen February 1. Do you have any suggestions for other trails in the area beside Shoe Creek? The ranger also said one of their trails is closed because someone made a huge mud pit and destroyed part of the trail.

No, not much, just experience. Shoe Creek can be a challenge with enough snow and ice. Wonder how late Crozet will stay open this fall and into the winter. The only there trails I can think of are in the George Washington forest. But Ill keep and eye and ear out for new trails. BEN

Wonder how late Crozet will stay open this fall and into the winter. I emailed Chris Packard to find out about Crozet. They will be open all winter. We just need to coordinate if a group is coming in, otherwise watch for open wheeling weekends and just sign in and show up. Fran
