Well, the tropical storm Ernesto defintely did NOT have an impact on the weekend outside of the drive down. The people that showed were welcomed with mid 60's at night and mid 80's during the day, clear and sunny. Great weather, the trails were not dusty until late Saturday and Sunday. Minor issue's there, Tom had a broken Birfield, stilled wheeled with 3 wheel drive and a 16ga throttle cable, Ken drove Daniel open in the rear, Galen had to change the needle bearing dust in his rear U joint ;)and a tragic injury to a trailer hitch on a YJ with 31's ;D. I will get some of the pictures up later today.

I had a good time. Weather was perfect. I brought a camera, but didn't take a single picture.
And me going up Daniel open was due to technical issues, I just forgot to push the silly button. If I had problems, would have noticed. But, it being dry, Daniel was pretty easy.

We forgot to mention that we joined up with Galen and a few CNC guys on their clean-up run. I know I picked up quite a bit once I found the group.

I had a great weekend even though I broke an axle and my throttle cable.Just a minor set back still got to wheel in 3 wheel drive for the day.

Was it crowded or what! We (LowCountryJeepClub) ran with you all too and we never crossed paths the whole weekend. I think the Rangers have done a good job of cleaning the place up (enforcing the no alcholic beverages rule on the trail and campgrounds). We had our hands full with the newbies, lots of fun.

Sweet pictures. I wish I could have made it.
Just so you all don't get too full of yourselves, the muddy puddles on the trails from your pics were no deeper than the ones I had to drive through to get home from the base last friday ....

Hey Adam, the key is that they were 'wheeling, not working. Strange as it is, we just had a little rain on Thursday. It passed right by the coast of SC. And yes I did stop at the south of the border....
