I have heard numerous horror stories about the Powertrax Loc Wrong and how people go through lots of them before going with something else. But what do you guys think of the Detroit EZ Locker? I am just looking for something easy and simple to instal for the little XJs D44s.

Aren't the EZ lockers a slightly different design that Trac Tec sorta pirated from Powertrax? Also, Detroits are known for quality, wouldn't the little drop in be of quality too?

I made a long trip back from Rawley Springs pulling a trailer and a rear EZ locker locking and unlocking at will. Even straight uphill. Very attention getting at 65 mph when it tries sending you in the other lane,,, no the other lane past the other lane. I've had good luck with EZ's in the front with hubs. I've heard of a couple Lock-rite failures too, but not as many as EZ's. But I've stuck with Detroits since that last rear failure, a little piece of mind for the extra few dollars.
