January 17, 2007 From: Carla Boucher, Attorney Notices of workshops provided in the coming months is available at the UFWDA website at: www.ufwda.org/smf/index.php?board=13.0 Meeting location announcements have been posted for Michigan, Nebraska, Arkansas, and New Mexico. UFWDA has partnered with NOHVCC, the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA), and the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) in the development of these workshops. The purpose of the workshop is to assist the Forest Service and YOU in effective implementation of the USFS Travel Management Rule in your State. While the sessions on Thursday and Friday are designed primarily for Forest Service personnel and the sessions on Saturday and Sunday are designed primarily for the public, the sessions are open to all who want to attend and there is no charge. If you’re new to the UFWDA forums, simply go to www.ufwda.org/smf and sign-up. Scroll down to the Access Forum, and click on “General Land Advocacy”. You’ll see a thread for each of the 4 meeting locations. See you there. Carla Boucher Carla Boucher, Attorney United Four Wheel Drive Associations P.O. Box 15696 Chesapeake, VA 23328 (757) 546-7969
