Must be TOP SECRET, off limits to ME too....
I think this is what Chris is trying to post:
United Four Wheel Drive Associations has expanded the duties of its professional team.
Beaverton, OR – United Four Wheel Drive Associations (UFWDA), the world’s leading representative of all-brand four wheel drive enthusiasts, has expanded the duties of its professional team with the appointment of Marti Pugh to the position of Manager, Business Development & Operations. In addition to the responsibilities of Operations Manager, Ms. Pugh will continue in her nationally-recognized capacity as Business Development Manager. UFWDA has also appointed Frank McConnell as Director of Public Relations. Mr. McConnell, a life time four wheel drive enthusiast, brings with him the leadership and public relations skills needed to promote the image of four wheeling.
Carla Boucher, while continuing in her capacity as chief legal counsel for UFWDA, was appointed as Executive Director of UFWDA to oversee the development of the professional team and its expanded roles.
“UFWDA attributes its expansion of professional roles to its continued and growing dedication to protecting, promoting, and providing 4x4 opportunities worldwide”, said Wayne Groom, President of UFWDA.
In her additional role as Manager of Operations, Marti Pugh will not only be responsible for continuing the Business Development program but will also be responsible for aiding UFWDA in meeting its daily operational needs, carrying out targeted marketing strategies, conducing financial planning and reporting, developing corporate protocol for professional and board positions, and coordinating corporate presence at trade shows.
Frank McConnell, in his new role as Director of Public Relations, will be responsible for promoting four wheel drive awareness with a broader public community, promoting strong user ethics within the four wheel drive community, and implementing public relations outreach programs for UFWDA. A highly respected four wheel drive enthusiast, Frank brings more than a decade of public relations experience to UFWDA. Most recently, Frank has completed several successful community outreach programs for a construction firm project which interfaced with local businesses potentially disrupted during critical route construction work in a downtown business area.
Since beginning her career with UFWDA in 1997, Carla Boucher has played a key role in ensuring UFWDA lives up to its mission to protect, promote, and provide 4x4 recreational access worldwide. The expansion in her duties to include managerial oversight of UFWDA operations is a natural fit with Carla’s global contacts, professional maturity, straightforward management style, and fierce loyalty to the four wheel drive community. With her expanded role Carla will be responsible for ensuring UFWDA meets its commitments to its members.
