Hello All, I'll try to keep this short as to not bore anyone. I'm an active duty Navy Seabee stationed in Williamsburg. I'm still fairly new to the area as I have only been here since the end of February. Before that I was stationed in Cairo, Egypt for 3.5 years where I spent countless hours wheeling the Egyptian Desert. My current rig is an '06 4Runner with a Revtek 3" lift and 32" Nitto Terra Grapplers. I found out about the club simply through an internet search and I really like how well organized it is.
On a side note, I would like to thank Chris Boucher for taking the time to speak with on the phone and giving me the inside scoop. Thanks Chris!

I went to Oak Ridge with some friends as a passenger earlier this month and had a blast. Years ago, I had Toyota 4wd and did some wheeling at a couple of local spots, but I'd never seen any terrain like I saw at O.R. Well, now I'm hooked. There's now a '94 YJ in my driveway and I can't wait to get it out on the trails!

Funny how a trip to Oak Ridge or any other place like that can be expensive, whether you drive a 4x4 or not. ;D

If you liked Oak Ridge, plan a trip to Crozet to seperate yourself from some cash.

Yep, that's me. It didn't take me long to get hooked up, did it? I didn't buy Rob's. I picked up a '94 YJ from a guy in Plymouth,NC. It's really clean inside and out. It has 33' tires with a 3' body lift. Wish it was a suspention lift, but that'll come in time. I've put a couple or three hundred miles on it and it seems to be a pretty solid unit. Looking foreward to doing some wheeling with you guys. I'm planning on making the meeting on Wednesday and Star Motors on Saturday. Oh yeah, the names Kip. Hope to see you out there.
