Hello Tidewater Fourwheelers! Havent been wheeling any in the hampton roads area. I grew up in southeast Alaska and sent all my free time in the outdoors camping and riding atvs. Looking to find other people who like to have fun outdoors, camp and go wheelin. I currently own a 03 4runner. I recently added a 3" Readylift, pro comp wheels, nitto tires, and k&n cold air intake. Next modifications include a roof rack, winch, and front/rear bumpers. Right on man. Good to see you on the forums. I am originally from Portland Oregon. I miss being 30 min away from the great outdoors. There are lots of great places to camp not to far away from the Hampton roads area. There are also many great places to fish including many of the water sheds around here. I live near the Smith Lake fishing station. Good sport fishing, but nothing like a pacific salmon. Anyhow, good to hear from you and look forward to meeting you. I am also new to the club but so far a great group.

Glad to see you all on here, this sounds like the place for you. I feel your pain aftering spending 8 years in the PACNW at Whidbey Island. Yota4runner, sounds like you have a good start and great plans, come on out to the meeting and check it out. It is tough not having the "great outdoors" right out your back door, however, within a couple 4 hours of here there are some areas that could make you feel a little more "at home". the club does some great trips up around Charolettsville. I made it up to Shoe creek last year for camping and wheeling, there is a trout hachery up there and they release them all over. hope to see you all at the meeting.
Sand Squid.
