My name is Stephanie .I found this site through ButterBuddha on the Jeep forum. I have a TJ on a 4" lift and 33's, Aussie locked in the front and OX locked in the rear. I am at the Coast Guard training center in Yorktown for a few months. I would love to meet some Jeepers and find some places to ride. I am from Mobile, Al. Our club usually rides in the northern part of the state around the Birmingham area. It was a long drive here in a Jeep with no A/C or cruise to not get to use it. Attachments:

Welcome Stephanie! The places were you riding in AL, were they private places or public? I don't even know if AL has much in the way of National Forests. The picture looks too fun and challenging to be found on public property.

Hi Stephanie ( my sister would tell you that you spell your name wrong.........her's is spelled Stefanie ) I am having wheeling withdrawl as we speak! I am planning on going this weekend up at Shoe Creek, which is the Forestry Department fire trail near Crab Tree Falls up in Nelson County off of the Skyline Drive. I am hoping to get some of the other nurses here at work to come along with their Jeeps as well. If you are interested in coming let me know. It's a bit of a drive from the Tidewater area, but all of the mountain trails are, huh? Rock On!

Just an FYI, if you're going to hit Shoe Creek you need to start and end at the top of the mountain (the Appalachian Trail side). The bottom of the trail ends at the stream and is private property from there to the hard road. You either need permission to access it, or turn around and go back.
