This is weird. I have an 84 CJ7 with a 350 SBC. the battery is new but every 3 days the battery is drained.?. Battery was tested, it was good. Alternator is good as well. no radio or other electronics hooked up except 2 radiator fans which are on a temp. control thermostat switch and they rarely come on after the jeep is off. no lights stay on? Anyone ever run into this problem.

Best guess without knowing the wiring is probably something to do with the SBC. More than likely the ignition system. The easiest way to troubleshoot would be with a multimeter. Start doing voltage checks on all wires going to the engine. When you find the "hot" wire you've found your problem.
And how is the alternator wired up? Direct wire? Some alternators as they age will draw current off the battery even when they are off. And they will check good. Had the same problem with my alternator on my Toyota. It was a modified high output and would drain the battery even with the truck off. I put a scissor switch on the alternator charge wire and the problem went away.

The best way to find the current draw is to use a multimeter and then pull one fuse at a time until you figure out what's drawing on the battery.
