I have this knob adjuster thing in the cab of my '98 12V Dodge CTD. It runs a cable leading to the fuel pump. Doesn't appear to change idle RPM's at all and there is no brand name on it. Nothing in owners manual either. Any ideas? In cab knob Cable going to pump From further out

Its an after market Fuel controller, you can basically time your injector pump for best performance when towing and such....

OK, is there a good and bad way to adjust this (all the way in or out?), or just go by what I feel is the best. I will have to do some testing with it this weekend. Also, should it be adjusting my idle RPM, because it doesn't seem to make a difference.
