2007 Toyota Tundra. All bells, whistles, and other associated nice things accounted for. 5.7L monster and towing capacity in excess...will haul the camper or Jeep(s) just fine. Andy

Actually...I went ot the Dodge dealer first and was looking at Megacabs...boy they're big. Had one priced out and everything. Just had to look at the Tundra...and was completely blown away with how much better it is. Mileage, comfort, ammenities, reputation and reliability, warranty, 0% financing and a better price...the Megacab just couldn't compete.

You know, I once heard that Toyota's long range plan was to be the only carmaker on earth. Some 200+ year long plan...

Yeah. Sometimes I wished I had opted for a Tundra instead of my Tacoma. The iForce V-8 gets as good if not better mileage than my 3.4L V-6 5-speed... even with the automatic behind the V-8... not to mention the extra towing capacity I wished I had right now, not saying I'm at the hurting point yet, but once I start trailering...
Anyhow, that's a nice truck. I'm not as 'moved' by the new body lines with the Tundra and Tacoma, but they are still darn good trucks nonetheless. I'd just like to see what kinda gas mileage you'll get towing one or both Jeeps. Wouldn't surprise me if it got in the high teens to low-to-mid 20s mpg-wise. I think I'd still get a Cummins-powered Dodge for a tow rig, though... only because I'd be looking further down the road. Again, nice truck, Andy!

Thanks!
Not doing anything to this truck. It's 2WD BTW...although you're right, it would look pretty sick up on 35's. The megacabs w/ a 5.9 or 6.7 diesel. don't get close to the mileage of the Tundra. Granted, they can pull lots more weight and will probably run forever...I just don't need that...and probably wont. This is so much better a fit.
